iMac mid-2007Since 1979 Apple-Q has been helping people to learn about their computers, originally with the Apple ][ series, then the Mac and now, with the phenomenal popularity of their iOS devices: the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch.

We offer a range of services to club members to help you to get the most from the Mac and iOS including demonstrations on a range of topics plus one-on-one assistance, training on apps as chosen by members, a monthly magazine, book/magazine lending library

The Apple-Q hardcopy library is being sold off. All books are now 2 for $1.00 unless otherwise marked.

These are recently published texts carefully chosen for their relevance to Apple hardware, operating systems and applications. This could be your last chance to stock up your home library. You might like to plan your purchases by checking the Library Catalogue at the Club website.

In addition to 
the usual lucky door prizes, raffles, sales table and more, for the November meeting on Sunday 20th, the presentation topics are:
  • Numbers (for Mac) part 2
  • Screen Sharing on Mac and iOS (controlling your Mac remotely)
  • Battery Care

Monthly meetings are held in the Art/Music Building at MacGregor High School on the third Sunday of each month except December. Please arrive by around 10:45am so the first session can start at 11am.

You will either need to bring your own packed lunch and cold drinks if you plan to stay for the whole meeting (finishes around 3:30pm) or purchase one of our delicious mince rolls for $4 (while stocks last). Hot drinks for $1 and a microwave are also available.

Everyone is welcome. Come along and join us for the day.

Blackboard Our free training workshops are a great way to get intensive training on subjects that interest our members. Workshops are held of the 4th Sunday of each month (except December). Club membership is required.
