Welcome to Apple-Q!


iMac mid-2007Since 1979 Apple-Q has been helping people to learn about their computers, originally with the Apple ][ series and now with the Mac and iOS range of devices.

We offer a range of services to club members to help you to get the most from your Macintosh computer, iPhone and iPad including demonstrations on a range of topics plus one-on-one assistance, training on apps as chosen by members, a monthly magazine, book/magazine lending library, software library and online forums. For more information about becoming a member, visit our Join page. 

Everyone is welcome. If you're not yet a member, you're invited to attend one monthly meeting to check us out before joining.

Monthly meetings are held at Macgregor High School on the third Sunday of each month except December.

For the May meeting on Sunday 20th, the topics are:

  • iPad 3 or Apple TV (Apple video)
  • Apple User Group resources
  • Photo editing with GIMP (free OpenSource picture editing software)

Training Seminars

Diploma We offer a range of low-cost training seminars on subjects that interest our members. Seminars are held of the 4th Sunday of each month (except December). Club membership required.
