About Us

21st Birthday Party

Apple-Q User Group was established in 1979, initially as a club supporting users of Apple ][ computers. With the introduction of the Macintosh in 1984 and the newer iOS devices (the iPhone and the iPad), our focus has continually expanded. Today, although Apple ][ users are pretty thin on the ground we continue to support Mac, iPhone, iPad and iPod users and seek new ways to assist as we move into the era of wearable tech with the Apple Watch.

We offer a range of services to help members get the most from their apps and Apple devices.

The club is run by volunteers who pass their knowledge on to other members. Members range from recreational users through to computer professionals, programmers and educators.

We are based in Brisbane, Queensland, but we also have members in Bundaberg and other parts of Australia.
