Apple-Bug Download

Apple-Bug coverThe Apple-Bug Magazine is published 11 times a year - January to November. Rather than a printed magazine, we produce an electronic magazine in PDF format. All Macs that run Mac OS X will open files in PDF format. If you have a Mac with an earlier operating system, you can download the Acrobat Reader from the Adobe web site. Acrobat Reader is free.

To access the newsletter, you will need to log into the Abyss Members' Area. It is a password protected section of the Apple-Q web site just for members.

Accessing the Abyss for the First Time

You can access the Abyss via the Abyss Login on the right-hand side of every web page on the Apple-Q web site.

Abyss Login

Enter the email address you gave to the club next to Email. If this is the first time you have logged into the Abyss, the password will be your membership number. This password is three digits, so if you are member 55, enter 055 as you password. Once you have entered your password, click on the Login button.

Change Password

You will then be asked for a new password. You can choose your own password. This password can not be less than six characters in length. Enter the password under Password and enter the same password again under Confirm Password. Then click on the Change Password button.

You only have to change the password the first time you log-in. Remember the password, as you will need it again to log into the Abyss.

Once you are in the Abyss Members' Area, click on the menu option Apple-Bug and then click on the Download button to get the latest issue of the magazine.

I forgot the Password

If you forgot your password or you don't know your membership number (when logging-in for the first time), you can get your password sent to your email address.

Lost Password

Click on the link forgot password? in the Abyss Login box and you will be taken to a form.

Retrieve Password

Enter the email address you gave the club and click on the Retrieve Password button. Your password will be emailed to that email address. If you no longer have access to that email address, contact the Registrar for assistance.
