Apple-Bug Magazine

Apple-Bug coverApple-Q publishes a monthly magazine called the Apple-Bug. It is published 11 times a year – January to November. The Apple-Bug is delivered to members electronically in PDF format.

Each 16-page edition contains the latest Macintosh news, reviews, tips and tutorial articles.

Publishing in the Apple-Bug

Anyone can submit an article for the Apple-Bug. The editor has the final decision on which articles are published. Apple-Q members get rewards for articles they write that appear in the magazine.

You can submit your article in Microsoft Word, RTF, AppleWorks or plain text formats. Email your articles to the Apple-Bug Editor.

Advertising in the Apple-Bug

If you sell a Macintosh related product or service, the Apple-Bug is a cost effective way to promote your products – costing just cents per reader.

Discounts are available for advertising in multiple issues. Advertisement artwork and payment are required before the issue deadline for the advert to be printed. Visit our Calendar page for the next magazine deadline. Artwork can be supplied in PDF, EPS or InDesign formats. Please include fonts if they are not embedded in the file.

Adverts from Members

Members may insert free advertisements in the Apple-Q Classifieds, which is published on the web site and the Apple-Bug magazine. The adverts can be changed or removed at any time on the web site. Due to the production timeline for the magazine, adverts placed after the deadline will be published in the following month's magazine.

To place a new classified advert or update an existing advert, you need to log into Abyss – the Members’ area of the web site.
