About Us

Apple-Q User Group was established in 1979, initially as a club supporting users of Apple II computers. With the introduction of the Macintosh in 1984, we expanded our focus to include the Macintosh. Today, the number of Apple II users has dwindled but we continue to support Macintosh users.
We offer a range of services to help members get the most from their Macintosh computer and software.
The club is run by volunteers who pass-on their knowledge to other members. Members range from recreational users through to computer professionals, programmers and educators.
We are based in Brisbane, Queensland, but we also have members in Bundaberg and other parts of Australia.
