Apple-Bug 2024-05

Apple ‘Let Loose’ iPad Event.

The interesting highlights for me were that they placed the new M4 chip in the iPad Pro before doing so with any Mac model. Contrary to other Apple Event, the release of a Next Generation M4 Chip was a minor sub-event and it was released before the M3 Ultra

Apple has also created what it calls the World’s most advanced display - the Ultra Retina XDR (watch that part of the Event - very interesting). All of the iPads now have a USB-C connector with the Pro’s port having Thunderbolt. The Apple Pencil Pro and the new keyboard are also interesting.

Four New Apple-Q HowTo Tutorials

I have also been slack in producing Apple-Q HowTo Tutorials from members’ questions/queries - I did not forget, I was just catching up with other things. So I checked my list of recent questions from members and created four new tutorials. Short versions are in this Apple-Bug with the full versions available on our website and from direct links listed in the articles.

Once again there are some interesting findings from Jude (along with a couple of my own). Gary from MacMost has a couple of video tutorials that I found very interesting - also Be Connected.
