The is a very underused feature of macOS called Folder Actions. It allows you to attach an action to a folder in the Finder. The screenshot below shows some of these. In this tutorial I am going to add a Folder action that watches the Apple-Q HowTo Tutorial (Synced) folder an alert you when a new tutorial has been added.
