Apple-Bug: New iPads (2022-11)

Apple has decided to simply sneak in a couple of new iPads rather than having an Apple Event to introduce them - there are two - the iPad (10th Gen) and the iPad Pro.

The new base model iPad has some nice additions like a new, faster A14 Bionic chip and TouchID for signing in & ApplePay. It also comes in four colours, has a 10.9 inch screen (up from10.2) with no notch at the top, and includes a USB-C connector instead of a Lightning. This latter is most likely due to the EU’s decision to make this connector standard on all new tech devices sold there. Though the connector has changed the communication speed has not been upgraded and is still USB2 speed.

The new appearance is basically due to the new version of iPadOS 16 so overall it has a nice new look and feel but not really ground-breaking.
